Cubans who enter without inspection are eligible for parole and adjustment of status under the Cuban Adjustment Act (CAA) of 1966. After the Cuban national surrenders to immigration officials and receives a grant of parole, he or she may apply for permanent residence one year later, subject to grounds of eligibility. The CAA also allows spouses and children of Cubans to adjust their status even if they are not citizens or nationals of Cuba.

Hart Immigration provides immigration services in Los Angeles, Orange County, and surrounding areas.
